Queer IPU - Poster Designs

Intro
This poster series for Queer IPU combines event design with institutional positioning. Created for lectures, discussions, and internal formats, the posters translate psychoanalytic perspectives on power, social inequality, and queer theory into visual form. Rather than functioning as purely informational announcements, the series acts as a visual intervention within the university space. Each poster strengthens the initiative’s recognizability while establishing a distinct visual language situated between academic precision and political sensitivity. The imagery intentionally varies — from a sculpted couch to abstracted body fragments and condensed symbolic forms. Instead of repeating a single key visual, each poster develops its own visual concept, translating the respective topic into a field of tension. The series works with materiality, fragmentation, and deliberate reduction, balancing conceptual complexity with formal clarity. The typography remains sober and accessible, while the image areas create emotional and political density. The result is not one unified key visual, but a cohesive design family — connected through attitude, rhythm, and a clear visual language.
